There’s no better way to shake off a bad day than by getting on the dance floor. Fortunately, Phoenix has several choice spots to dance your cares away. 

For lovers of the increasingly vibrant downtown club scene, Bar Smith offers a hot dance floor and one of the best rooftop bars in the Valley of the Sun.

GypsyBar, a nightlife venue located in the sprawling CityScape complex, is part arcade and part nightclub for a fun night of lounging, playing and dancing.

Monarch Theatre, located conveniently off the light rail on Washington Street in downtown Phoenix, regularly hosts DJs and national dance music headliners. 

If you're looking for a more casual place to get down, head to some of the city's midtown blues clubs. The Rhythm Room is the city's venerable roots and blues club. It has a small dance floor, but it's always swinging on a Saturday night. 

For a fun, laidback atmosphere with live music, karaoke and game nights, head to Rip's Bar on 16th Street. Soak up the quirky retro vibe at this neighborhood venue.
